Montreal, QC – Recognition of TPTN as AI-powered export infrastructure
In a recent public statement, Senator Tony Loffreda recognized the work of Gerald Naimer and Chris Papp, founder of the TransPacific Trade Nexus (TPTN), during a discussion focused on modernizing Canada’s export infrastructure through innovation and AI.
“Insightful exchange with real estate entrepreneur Gerald Naimer and Chris Papp, who is building an AI-powered trade platform to modernize Canada’s export infrastructure.Always a pleasure to discuss topics of national interest with visionary entrepreneurs—after all, it is entrepreneurs who drive innovation, create wealth, and build our future.”
TPTN is a Canada-first, AI-native trade platform currently in prototype, with formal support from Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia. Designed with governance, multilingual AI, and compliance automation at its core, the platform has received validation from the Digital Governance Council confirming its structured alignment with Canada’s Digital Trust Conformity Assessment Program, including mapped conformance to CAN/DGSI 104:2024 and the UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Transferable Records (MLETR).
Senator Loffreda’s ongoing leadership on the Senate Committee on Banking, Trade and Commerce continues to spotlight the importance of responsible AI and infrastructure investment to ensure long-term national competitiveness.
